Terms of Use

These terms apply to your use of RefillDay (the "site"), including its calculators, medication tracker and articles. By using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

1. Informational use only

The site provides estimates for informational and planning purposes. It does not provide medical, pharmacy, legal or insurance advice, and it does not create any professional relationship. It does not determine whether a prescription is eligible for refill or whether an insurance plan will pay for it.

Always follow the directions on your prescription label and from your prescriber or pharmacist. Do not change, skip, stretch or double any dose based on the site. In an emergency, call 911. For a possible poisoning or overdose, call Poison Control at 1-800-222-1222. Our full medical disclaimer is part of these terms.

2. Your responsibilities

  • Enter information accurately and check results before relying on them.
  • Confirm refill timing with your pharmacy, prescriber or insurance plan.
  • Keep your device secure. Saved medications are stored in your browser, so anyone with access to that browser may see them.
  • Don't misuse the site, for example by attempting to disrupt it, overload it, scrape it at scale, bypass its security or use the contact form to send spam.

3. Data stored on your device

Calculations run in your browser. Medications, history and preferences you save are kept in your browser's local storage, not on our servers. We can't recover this data if it's deleted, and it doesn't sync between devices. See the privacy policy for details.

4. Accuracy and availability

We work to keep the calculators and content accurate and publish our formulas on How we calculate. Even so, the site may contain errors, may not reflect every pharmacy's or plan's practice, and may change or be unavailable at any time without notice.

5. No warranties

The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RefillDay and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site or its results, including missed doses, running out of medication, or refill or insurance decisions. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

7. Third-party services and links

The site may link to other websites and may use third-party services such as Google Calendar (when you choose to add an event). We don't control those services and aren't responsible for their content or practices. Their own terms and privacy policies apply.

8. Advertising

The site may display advertising to keep it free. Advertisers do not influence our calculators or content, and an ad is not an endorsement of any product, pharmacy or service. Our editorial policy explains how content and advertising are kept separate.

9. Intellectual property

The site's design, text, graphics and code are owned by RefillDay or its licensors. You may use the calculators and share links to pages freely. You may print or save results for personal use. Please don't copy or republish substantial parts of the content without permission.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
