RefillDay

Privacy Policy

Last updated October 6, 2026.

RefillDay is built so that your medication information never needs to leave your device. This policy explains what that means in practice.

The short version

  • No account is required, and there is no sign-up.
  • All calculations happen in your browser.
  • Medication names, doses, dates and counts you enter are not submitted to our server.
  • Saved medications, calculation history and preferences are stored in your browser's localStorage on your device.
  • You can delete that data at any time.

What is stored on your device

ItemWhat it containsHow to delete it
My MedicationsNames, fill dates, quantities and doses you choose to save (up to 10)Delete on each medication, or Clear All Local Data

This data stays in the browser you used. It isn't synced to other devices, and anyone with access to your device and browser could see it. Clearing your browser's site data also removes it.

What our server receives

Like any website, our web server receives standard technical information needed to deliver pages: the page address requested, your IP address, browser type and the time of the request. Hosting providers commonly keep these in server logs for security and troubleshooting. These requests never include what you type into the calculators.

Things you choose to send elsewhere

  • Google Calendar: "Add to Google Calendar" opens Google with the event details filled in, which can include the medication name. Google's privacy policy applies once you save it.
  • Calendar files and images are created in your browser and saved to your device.
  • Share and Copy pass the result text to the app you pick.

Analytics

RefillDay currently uses no analytics or tracking scripts.

Advertising

RefillDay currently shows no ads and loads no advertising scripts. If that changes, this section will explain which services are used and how to opt out.

Cookies

RefillDay itself uses no tracking cookies. Saved medications and preferences use your browser's local storage, which is never sent to our server.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking them doesn't stop the calculators from working.

Your privacy rights (US residents)

Residents of some states, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and others, have rights over their personal information, such as the right to know, delete or correct it and to opt out of its "sale" or "sharing" for targeted advertising.

  • Medication details: we never receive them, so there is nothing for us to sell, share or delete. You control them on your device.
  • We do not sell personal information for money.
  • Contact form messages: are emailed to us and not stored on the website. To ask us to delete an email you sent, contact us.

Health information and HIPAA

RefillDay is not a healthcare provider, health plan or clearinghouse, and it is not a HIPAA-covered service. Because the calculators run in your browser and medication details aren't sent to us, we don't collect or hold your health information.

Children

RefillDay is intended for adults managing medications for themselves or others and doesn't knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top will change too.
